Equipping Team

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fulness of Christ. Leadership of City On A Hill Connection is based off on the five equipping roles presented in Ephesians 4:11-13. These leaders will be servants to all the churches within the network. They will equip each church to be healthy functioning church in the areas of teaching sound doctrine, evangelizing the lost, and reproducing new churches. They will also serve the individual house church leaders as well as foster unity between the churches. These leaders will serve as the church planting team for the network.

Adam & Diana Clay

Adam is a graduate of Southwetern Baptist Theological Seminary. His passions are starting churches, seeing others come into a mautre relationship with Christ, playing guitar, and watching the Houston Astros win it all!! Diana is an Early Intevention Specialist with MHMR. She loves maintaining church community, serving others, and being an awesome mother to our son, Julian. Together, they are involved in mentoring and coaching interested house and organic church planters.

Willie & Emily Butler
Willie and Emily are both graduates of Southwestern Seminary.
God has given them a heart for the nations and a passion for making disciples
in all the world. They have served in Bolivia, Mexico, China, Cambodia,
and eventually hope to work among the unreached in Africa.
They are blessed with one daughter, Eva, and another child on the way!

Travis & Beth Burkhalter Travis and Beth have a calling to raise up Kingdom Laborers by facilitating and planting simple churches. Beth’s passions are sharing with others her intimacy with Christ, seeing women equipped and released to minister, creative shopping, speaking Spanish, and raising children to follow Jesus. Travis’ passions include starting new ventures, encouraging others to recklessly follow after Jesus, seeing others discover truths from the Word of God, writing, and raising children to follow Jesus. They both have a heart for all cultures and have ministered in over six countries.

Joseph Cartwright Joseph has served the Lord in apostolic church planting, pastoral, and teaching ministry in Argentina, Canada and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Joseph graduated from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth with his Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages in Church Planting degree. He is the author of House Church Planting: Multiplying Colonies of Christ and Telling The Truth: Gleanings From A Serial Church Planter.
